As Strickland spoke, cars honked and some slowed, several people came up to ask him questions. Some people gave him money, others offered food. Meanwhile, he offered me his cell phone to call his mother. Sandy Allen greeted me as if I had known her most my life. Like me, she said, “I didn’t think it was too good an idea.” Sandy said she had driven to Washington before, and it’s a long way in a car. And yet, Mrs. Allen supported her son’s decision. Furthermore, she said, “God can make good things of everything." To read the full story, click the following link: James Strickland Story - Princeton Herald God bless you Jimmy.
